Tick-tock, tick-tock, the count-down to tiki-time has begun!
Happy Friday! Here at the fabulous flat shared with my dear friend T, we're gearing up for a party. And that's not just any old type of party - it's tiki themed and fabulous! That's right, tomorrow it's again time for our annual TIKI PARTY! I'm soo looking forward to this...
Right now you find my busy in the kitchen (well, right now I'm on the net, but then again I've got to find something to do inbetween the cooking), with yellow flowers in my hair ...and a dress cut down to there (just kidding about the last part)! The welcome punch is sorted out, and while Beachboys is blasting out of the speakers, I'm busy with a tasty tiki-related surprise! Oh, and last Sunday my honey & I went on a small expedition to the giftshop at the Kon-Tiki museum at Bygdøy to buy tiki mugs. Unfortunately we sort of over slept and didn't have time to see the museum itself. Too bad, but there will be another chance soon.
By now I guess you've already realised that I've gone tiki-crazy (again), and that all this post is going to be about. Nothing much planned for today except preparations. A few last items to get our hands on: alcohol, decorations and food. And then there's the decorating this evening. Dearest E will be coming over to help us with that part - yeah, the girls getting ready for another party!
On another note, Mommy Dearest is coming to stay the night on Sunday. She's heading off to London to visit the world's cooles aunt! I'm glad she's popping buy, 'cause I don't think I've seen her since x-mas.
